Weathering with You: The world’s always been crazy and it’ll be ok as long as I’m with my passion
We do not have to feel guilty when we chose something because we can’t do it right for every single case. Besides, whether we choose or not choose something, things are always happening including good and bad things. Therefore, it’s ok to choose something, and you don’t have to worry what or how it will affect the world.
“The world’s been crazy, it’s not your fault”
“Tokyo had been under-watered for 300 years, it’ll just turned back as it used to be”
As I mentioned earlier and as the movie emphasized this thing to us twice which are “The world’s been crazy, it’s not your fault” and “Tokyo had been under-watered for 300 years, it’ll just turned back as it used to be”. The movie really wanted to us that some choices that we made are not our faults. There are nothing wrong to choose your “happiness” or “passion” before the world. I think this is a key message that this movie want to tell us. Moreover, I found another key message from this movie. During the time that I have been watching this movie, I have never thought that “weather” has big impacts to humans’ hearts since I always think that “What we are thinking” for “What is happening” is the most significant thing.
However, I could learn other perspectives from this movie. It made me realize that the “weather” is really important for humans’ lives. However, at the very end of the movie, both of protagonists do not care about the “weather” anymore. They just wanted to be with each’s other. This can be implied that no matter how big storms they will face, they are not started and everything is going to be ok as long as they are “together”. Actually, it can be implied for many things. It does not have to be like a “romantic” relationship.
I think I can conclude like this. “As long as you are with your passion, everything is going to be ok even if you have to face the storm whether it is just temporary or eternal”.
